Elle also worked as the director of a nonprofit called the HALO Foundation, and taught art therapy programs to homeless and at-risk youth.
“Using art as a therapeutic tool to help empower and inspire people is very powerful to me, and it influences my approach to art. As an artist, designer, and muralist, my desire is to take plain or overlooked spaces, and bring them to life with beauty, inspiration, and movement through color.
I love to create places of interest. Places that were once overlooked or passed by without notice can now be transformed into areas of intrigue and inspiration. Places where one can stop, reflect, and take in the message and atmosphere that the art is providing. It is my joy to create these atmospheres in people’s homes and businesses.”
